David R. Sawyer is responsible for managing client portfolios and account administration in Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts.
Professional Experience
Mr. Sawyer joined Eastern Investment Advisors in 1998 when Eastern Bank acquired Hibernia Savings Bank. Previously, he worked at Fleet National Bank for ten years in personal trust administration, trust operations, and retail banking.
Education
Mr. Sawyer holds a Bachelor of Administration degree from Bryant College. He is also a graduate of the Cannon Trust School, receiving degrees in Personal Trust Administration, Personal Trust Sales, and Investments. He has completed Boston University's Certified Financial Planner Program.
Currently, Mr. Sawyer is a member of the Norfolk and Plymouth Estate and Business Planning Council, past president of the Quincy Lion's Club and on the Board of Directors of Grampy's Charities. He also works as a team captain in the South Shore YMCA's annual fund-raising campaign and assists Cerebral Palsy of Massachusetts with the planning of their annual golf tournament.
