Shawn M. McCarthy is responsible for a seasoned portfolio of accounts including trusts, investment management, custodial management, estates, and IRAs.
Professional Experience
Mr. McCarthy joined Eastern Investment Advisors in April of 2001. Previously, he was a vice president and relationship manager in the Large Account Unit at Fleet National Bank. He has been working in the trust business since 1992.
Education
Mr. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Bentley College. He obtained his C.T.F.A (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor) certification from The Institute of Certified Bankers. He is also a graduate of Cannon Trust School at Boston University. He has completed Boston University's Certified Financial Planner Program.
Mr. McCarthy is a member of the Finance and Advisory Board in the town of Stoneham. He is also involved in a variety of youth activities in the town of Stoneham and serves on the Board of Directors of Stoneham Soccer Club.
