Cash Reserve - Line of Credit
You can have instant access to the money you need with a Cash Reserve Line of Credit that works with your Eastern Bank checking account. You can request a minimum line, as little as $1,000, or up to a maximum of $10,000. Once your personal limit has been established, you can begin to borrow up to that limit by simply writing a check, from your checking account – even if your checkbook balance is zero.
Cash Reserve Credit gives you automatic protection against expensive overdrafts. In addition, you can arrange to have your payments deducted automatically from your checking account.
Cash Reserve is not available with Free Checking. However, customers with Free Checking can request Balance Protection, which authorizes the transfer of funds from Eastern Bank savings accounts to cover the amount of any overdraft.
