David Marburger named manager of new Dedham branch DEDHAM, Nov. 24, 2003 Eastern Bank, a full-service commercial bank, today announced the appointment of David Marburger as manager of its new Dedham branch, located at 240 Providence Highway. Marburger is a 17-year veteran of the banking industry. He will manage operations and customer relations at the full-service branch, which is open every day. Were pleased to have someone with Davids experience running our new Dedham branch, said Gary Coltin, senior vice president in charge of retail banking for Eastern Bank. He brings a wealth of banking knowledge and a strong commitment to customer service. Prior to joining Eastern, Marburger was a branch manager at Citizens Bank. Prior to that, he spent 15 years at Bank of America, where he worked his way through the ranks from teller to branch manager. Marburger earned a general banking degree from the American Institute of Banking and has consumer lending certification from Owens School of Management at Vanderbilt University. He is enrolled in a bachelors degree program in business management through the University of Phoenix. The Dedham branch represents part of Eastern Banks plans to expand throughout Greater Boston. Located next to the Dedham Mall, the branch is the banks 51st and the fourth new location to open this year.
