BOSTON, Mass., April 12, 2002 – Eastern Bank, a full-service commercial bank based in Boston, announced today that Russell Dupuis was appointed manager of the Braintree branch at 51 Commercial Street (Weymouth Landing).

Dupuis was with the former Bank of Braintree for 23 years prior to joining Eastern in 1998 as manager of its Marshfield office. “This is like coming home for me,” Dupuis said.

Dupuis earned his degree at Massasoit Community College and attended the National School of Finance Management at Fairfield University. He lives in Pembroke with his wife and daughter.

“His extensive experience in retail banking, and knowledge of the Braintree area gives him the skills needed to serve our customers in the community,” said Donna Greeney, a regional manager for Eastern.
