• Zero Balance Accounts (ZBAs) are operating accounts that maintain a zero balance and are automatically funded from a concentration account to cover daily clearings.
  
  
• Automated ClearingHouse (ACH) transactions, via our TreasuryConnect internet platform, allows you to generate electronic transfers automatically including tax payments.
  
  
• Tax Express is a fast, safe, and convenient way to pay your Federal and State taxes without leaving your office. All you need is a touch-tone phone or a computer with an Internet connection to make payments from your Eastern Bank account accurately and on time. Each payment only takes about 60 seconds.
  
  
• Wire Transfer Services provide a secure means of transferring funds on a real-time basis. Wires may be initiated by telephone or through our TreasuryConnect internet platform.
  

Investment & Cash Utilization
Your Treasury Services professional can design a custom program to help maximize the earning potential of excess cash balances. We offer a full-range of automatic investment services:

• Overnight Investment Programs generate automatic transfers of excess balances from a deposit account to overnight investments. Net daily balances in these investments earn interest and maintain the liquidity needed to cover checks drawn against the account the next business day.
  
  
• Sweep to Line of Credit automatically transfers funds from a line of credit to a checking account to cover checks or maintain a target balance. Conversely, excess checking account funds are automatically applied to any line balances to reduce interest expense.
  
  
• Dual Sweep Programs automatically transfer funds to or from a checking account in an amount needed to maintain an appropriate “target balance.” Excess balances are automatically applied against a line of credit while in a borrowing mode, or into an overnight investment when the line is fully paid.
  
  
• Short Term Investments include a variety of low-risk alternatives with a full range of maturities, including CDs, Commercial Paper, U.S. Treasury Bills, and Money Market Accounts.
