Encryption
Eastern Bank’s Internet banking products use the highest level of encryption available today (128-bit). Encryption is a method of scrambling data so that it is unintelligible to anyone that may intercept it as it passes over the Internet. The encrypted data can only be unscrambled by the encryption software on Eastern Bank’s computer and the web browser on your computer.

You will need to have a browser with 128-bit encryption to use our Internet banking products. Learn more about browser requirements.

Login Information
To access our Internet banking products, you will need to establish login information that identifies you to Eastern Bank. Examples of login information include:
  • User name
  • Account number
  • Company ID
  • a password or Personal Identification Number (PIN)
