Nancy leads Eastern Bank’s philanthropy, volunteerism, and civic advocacy -- partnering with fellow change-makers across nonprofit, for-profit, and government sectors. She has actively shaped the Bank’s corporate social responsibility culture and reputation for over 25 years and sharpened the vision and mission of Eastern Bank Foundation to focus on community vibrancy and economic inclusion and mobility. She is a sought-after community leader in the philanthropic world, creating and driving initiatives supporting systemic change to advance social justice for under-resourced communities and leads her team in advancing equity in the small business ecosystem, enriching early childhood development, securing safe and affordable housing, and promoting workforce development for adults.

The Foundation stands at $220MM in assets providing $13MM in grants to 1,200+ local organizations in 2023. Recognizing the impact of EBF’s work, the Boston Business Journal has recognized it 12 times as a Top 10 Most Charitable Company. Nancy is a strong advocate for social justice, speaking up/out on unmet community needs and serves on a number of community boards. She was recently recognized by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce with the 2024 Pinnacle Award for Non-Profit Management and The Women’s Edge as a Top 100 CEO in Massachusetts.
