Grants in Our Communities
Eastern Bank is committed to helping communities prosper. That's why we're proud to give an average of 10% of our net income every year to charity. Since 1999, we have donated more than $140 million in charitable giving.
Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation is the charitable arm of Eastern Bank and provides three types of grant opportunities. See below to determine which type works best for your organization.
All applications must be submitted online through our portal. We will not accept paper or email requests or letters of inquiry. If you are a first-time applicant on our online system, you will need to register yourself as a new user. Your email address is your unique identifier and can be associated with only one organization. If you are affiliated with more than one organization, please obtain additional email addresses and register for each organization separately.
We remain committed to these grants throughout our footprint and have committed a total of $5MM to support our communities in 2020.
We also seek to also have a deeper and more meaningful impact to promote economic inclusion and mobility across our region. We are in the process of determining the best way for us to do this, and more information will be posted here as we have it.
