Grants in Our Communities
Eastern Bank is committed to helping communities prosper. That's why we're proud to give an average of 10% of our net income every year to charity. Since 1999, we have donated more than $120 million to non-profit organizations.
We focus our giving on supporting organizations that provide services to the underserved and neediest members of our community. We work to ensure that all our neighbors have equal access to employment, education, healthcare, housing, childcare, healthy meals and other essential support services.
The Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation currently accepts 3 types of grant requests: Community Grants, CITC Grants and Neighborhood Grants. See the chart below to determine which type of grant is most appropriate for your request.
All applications must be submitted via our online application. We do not accept paper requests or letters of inquiry. If you are a first-time user of our online system, you will need to register yourself as a new user.
Your email address is your unique identifier and can be associated with only one organization. If you are affiliated with more than one organization, please obtain additional email addresses and register for each organization separately.
Our goal is to support impactful organizations across our geographic footprint, contributing to the health and vitality of the communities we serve. Download and view list of 2018 Organizations Receiving Donations of $1,000 or more, click here.
