Text Banking 

Don’t have a web-enabled phone to do your banking? Then we have another solution for you!  Text banking is a free and secure way to quickly obtain your accounts information via text messages on your phone. Simply send a text command to look up account balances or recent transactions.

To access your Eastern Bank accounts using text banking, you must be enrolled in Eastern HomeConnect® online banking and mobile banking.

To enroll in mobile banking: Sign on to Eastern HomeConnect and go to the Customer Service page. Select "Manage Mobile Banking Settings" and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once enrolled, you can send text commands to 59680 to perform banking activity1.

Banking Activity Text Command   Description
Balance B Available balances for all accounts linked to your HomeConnect account.
View Transactions H Recent transactions by account.
Stop Text Banking S Cancels all text services.
List of Text Commands C Provides a list of available text commands.
Help HE Information on how to contact the bank.
For Mobile Web users only
Mobile Web Login L Receive the web address for the Mobile Browser website.
Mobile Web Recovery R Receive the web address and new activation code for the Mobile Browser website.

    1. Text banking does not require Internet access.  However, please check with your wireless service provider for details on its fees and charges for text messaging.
