Boston, MA, January 29, 2020 – Eastern Bank, America’s oldest and largest mutual bank, is pleased to congratulate Nancy Huntington Stager, Chief Human Resources Officer and President and CEO of the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation, for being selected by a panel of peer HR leaders to receive the prestigious Human Resource Leadership Forum Bob Gatti HR Leadership Excellence Award. Bob Gatti was a key driver of elevating the HR function and community in New England for more than 40 years. Each year, the award recognizes an outstanding HR Leader in New England who has positively impacted their organization and elevated the HR function.
With Eastern for the past 24 years, Nancy has also led Corporate Philanthropy and Charitable Foundation operations and initiatives for 20 years, serves as Eastern’s Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, and has been instrumental with Eastern’s founding support of the nonprofit, the Foundation for Business Equity. She received the 2019 award last month at a ceremony honoring several others in the HR community with a variety of awards.
