Unenrolled Option Make a payment
This option is for customers that only have an occasional need to make a payment online. Each time you make a payment, you will need to enter complete payment information, including your loan account number, payment amount and funding account information.
Enrolled Option Enroll Login
This option is for customers that want to use Online Loan Payments as their primary method of making payment. It stores certain payment information, such as funding account, eliminating the need to enter this information each time you make a payment. This option also allows you to view your payment history and set up recurring payments.

For help with your User ID:
• User IDs must be at least 6 characters.
• User IDs must contain at least one letter. Numbers are recommended, but not required.
• User IDs cannot contain spaces.
• Special characters are not allowed, such as: ! @ # $ % ^ &
• Use of an underscore is not allowed: _
• User IDs are case sensitive.
• Your User ID and Password cannot be the same.
For help with your Password:
• Passwords must be at least 8 characters.
• Must include at least one letter and one number, with no spaces.
• There can be no more than 7 numbers and no more than 2 consecutive identical characters.
• The following special characters are allowed: # $ @
• Passwords are case sensitive.
• Your User ID and Password cannot be the same.

Q: What loans can I pay using the Online Loan Payment service?
A: You can pay all Eastern Bank mortgages, consumer loans, and commercial loans.
Q: When can I use the Online Loan Payment service to schedule a payment?
A: The Online Loan Payment service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can schedule a loan payment anytime that is convenient for you. However, payments scheduled after 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time or on non-business days will be posted to your loan account on the next business day.
Q: Can I make a future-dated loan payment?
A: Yes. You can schedule a one-time loan payment up to 10 calendar days in the future.
Q: Can I set up recurring loan payments?
A: Yes. If you elect to enroll in the Online Loan Payment service and create a User ID and Password, you can set up recurring fixed amount loan payments.
Q: Are there any limitations on the dollar amount of the loan payment?
A: Yes. The maximum loan payment amount is $10,000.00. For loan payments greater than $10,000.00, contact us at 1-800-EASTERN (327-8376) for assistance. Representatives are available Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. There is no minimum loan amount.
Q: What information do I need to make a loan payment?
A: You must have an active Eastern Bank loan account to use the Online Loan Payment service. To make a loan payment you will need your:
- Eastern Bank loan account number and note number;
- Social Security Number;
- Email address; and
- The number of the account you want the payment funds to be withdrawn from, as well as the routing and transit number of the financial institution at which the account is held.
Q: Will I need to enter my payment information each time I make a loan payment?
A: If you enroll in the Online Loan Payment service and create a User ID and Password, your payment information will be stored, eliminating the need to enter it with each payment. However, if you elect not to enroll in the service, you will need to provide your payment information with each loan payment.
Q: Can I use a credit card to make a loan payment?
A: No.
Q: Is there a fee for using the Online Loan Payment service?
A: No, there is no processing fee for using the Online Loan Payment service.
Q: When will payments be posted to my loan account?
A: Payments scheduled by 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time on any business day will be posted to your loan account on the same business day. Payments scheduled after 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time or on non-business days will post to your loan account on the next business day.
Q: How will payments be applied to my loan?
A: All payments made through the Online Loan Payment service are applied as a regular payment according to the terms of your Loan Agreement with us. Please review your Loan Agreement for details. If you are unsure how payments will be applied to your loan account, contact us at 1-800-EASTERN (327-8376). Representatives are available Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 pm.
Q: Will I receive a confirmation for my loan payment?
A: Yes. You will receive confirmation that your payment request has been submitted or scheduled.
Q: When will the funds be withdrawn from the account funding the loan payment?
A: Funds could be withdrawn as early as the day of the loan payment.
Q: What if there are insufficient funds in my account to make the loan payment?
A: If sufficient funds are not available in your checking account to satisfy the payment, the loan payment will be cancelled, and you will be responsible for any charges or fees related to the cancelled payment as described in your Loan Agreement with us. You are also responsible for any overdraft fees or other fees assessed by the financial institution where the account is held.
Q: Can I payoff my loan using the Online Loan Payment service?
A: Yes. You must first call us to obtain an accurate loan payoff amount before making the payment using the Online Loan Payment service. If you attempt to payoff your loan without an accurate payoff from a Bank representative, you may not be paying off the total amount due on your loan account. Q: After the loan is paid off, will future scheduled (recurring) payments stop?
A: If your loan is paid off and you have scheduled (recurring) payments set up, you must cancel the scheduled payment(s) in the Online Loan Payment service to avoid future loan payments from processing. If you need assistance cancelling a scheduled (recurring) payment, contact us at 1-800-EASTERN (327-8376). Q: What if I am making a loan payment that is past due?
A: You may use the Online Loan Payment service to make a past due payment to your loan account. Q: Can I make changes to a scheduled loan payment?
A: Yes. You may use the Online Loan Payment service to cancel or make changes to a future-dated payment prior to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the business day preceding the date the loan payment is scheduled to be made.
