Eastern Bank, Boston, Massachusetts has petitioned the Massachusetts Division of Banks for permission to close a branch office located at the addresses listed below (the “Branch”). Eastern Bank intends to close the Branch on the corresponding date listed below if Eastern Bank receives approval by the appropriate federal and state banking agencies of the proposed merger. Any objections or comments relative to this proposal must be communicated in writing to the Commissioner of Banks, Mary Gallagher, 1000 Washington Street, 10th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts 02118 no later than July 26, 2021.
Customers of the Branch do not have to take any action relating to deposit or loan accounts, as no customer account information will change.
