How do I change my mailing address?

You can contact a representative at 1-800-EASTERN (327-8376) to change the address on all accounts except for Equity loans, lines or personal lines of credit.  In order to request a change of address on such an account you will need to step into a branch or mail a written request to:

What is the routing transit number for Eastern Bank?

The routing transit number for Eastern Bank is 011301798.

Where can I find the routing transit number for my checking account?

Your routing transit number is the 9-digit number located in the bottom left corner of your check.  The number located to the right of your routing transit number is your account number, followed by the check serial number.

How do I activate my debit card?

You can activate your card at any Point of Sale (POS) or ATM terminal (a transaction that requires you to enter your PIN number to complete) or you can call 1-866-392-9952 and choose option 2.

Who do I contact if I forgot my User ID and password?

You may obtain your User ID and Password by contacting our 24 hour HomeConnect support team at 1-888-219-8359.

Can I transfer funds to another bank?

We currently do not offer the ability to send external transfers; however, you can certainly initiate a bill payment to your other bank by setting up that bank as a payee under HomeConnect’s Make Payments tab.  Payments may take up to 5 business days to reach your payee.

How do I set up a recurring bill payment?

To set up a recurring payment to a payee, click on your Make Payments tab, and then click on the My Payees link on the left side of the page.  Locate your payee in the list, and then click the Set up automatic link from the Payment Option column to create your recurring payment parameters.
