How to Access Your Business Accounts

We look forward to welcoming you to Eastern Bank. Upon completion of the merger, you will have access to your finances anywhere, anytime with Eastern Mobile & Online Banking® for Business.

As someone who currently uses Cambridge Trust Business Online & Mobile Banking (with no cash management services), we want to assure you that many of the same features you have available to you now will continue to be available to you through Eastern Mobile & Online Banking for Business, which you will be able to access on Monday, July 15, 2024.

How to Get Started Monday, July 15, 2024

Access Eastern Mobile Banking

1. Visit the app store on your mobile device.

2. Download the Eastern Business CT mobile app.

Get it on on Google Play




3. Login using the same Company ID, User ID, and Password you used to access your Cambridge Trust business online and mobile accounts. Follow the prompts to complete authentication and accept the new terms and conditions.

4. Delete the Cambridge Trust Mobile Banking app as it will become inactive.

Access Eastern Online Banking

1. Visit easternbank.com.



2. Under ‘Accounts Login’ select ‘Business’ and click on the link ‘Cambridge Trust Business Customers without Cash Management’.

3. Enter your existing Cambridge Trust Company ID, User ID and password to access your online account.

4. Complete the security code authentication and accept the new terms & conditions.

Once you are successfully signed in, you can begin banking online. Please note, if you have accounts at both Eastern Bank and Cambridge Trust they will not be combined in Eastern Mobile & Online Banking® for Business. If you would like to combine the accounts, please contact us on or after July 15, 2024.

How to Prepare

Key Action Items You Need to Complete

Bill Pay

  • Bill payments scheduled for Friday, July 12, 2024, will be processed on Monday, July 15, 2024.
  • Be aware that all bill payments scheduled on or after July 15, 2024, will debit your checking account on your payment ‘Send-On’ date.

Quickbooks® & Quicken®

All Cambridge Trust clients who use an Intuit product including QuickBooks® Desktop, QuickBooks® Online and Quicken® will be required to take action to ensure a successful transition to Eastern Bank.

BEFORE FRIDAY, JULY 12, 2024 prior to 4 PM

  • You will need to back up your data files and download final transaction reports. Please make sure to complete the final download before this date since transaction history might not be available after the upgrade.


  • You will complete the deactivate/reactivate of your online banking connection to ensure that you get your current Quicken or QuickBooks accounts set up with the new connection.

Important Action: Visit the conversion Intuit page for more information and instructions guides.

Statement and Notices

  • Print or download your past deposit and loan statements and any notices you’ve received electronically.
  • Loan statements and notices will not be available electronically after July 15, 2024.
  • If you would like to receive your future Eastern Bank deposit account statement electronically, please re-enroll for electronic statements.

Transactions & Account Activity

  • Print or save any deposit tickets and deposited item images, as these will not be available online after July 15, 2024.


  • Eastern Bank only supports one-time security codes delivered by text or phone call, if you used a hard or soft token to login to your Cambridge Trust account it will not transition.

What to Expect

BEFORE July 12, 2024

  • Take note of your current Company ID, User ID, and Password.
  • Confirm that your contact information is up to date.
  • On July 11, 2024 at 4 PM ET, bill pay will become unavailable; bill payments scheduled to send on July 12, 2024 will be sent on Monday, July 15, 2024.

Friday, July 12, 2024

  • Cambridge Trust Online & Mobile Banking will become unavailable starting at 4 PM ET.
  • Bill pay will remain unavailable.

Saturday & Sunday, July 13 - 14, 2024

  • Cambridge Trust Online & Mobile Banking and bill pay will remain unavailable.

Monday, July 15, 2024 at 9 AM ET

  • Visit easternbank.com to login and begin using Eastern Online Banking for Business.
  • Download and begin to use the Eastern Business CT mobile app.

What will and will not transfer to Eastern Mobile & Online Banking® for Business

Please review the following information carefully as some features will transition from your current Cambridge Trust business online account while others will not.

What WILL Transfer
  • Your Cambridge Trust accounts, company name, user ID, and password
  • Account alerts
  • Bill pay payees, scheduled bill payments, ebills, bill pay reports, and bill pay history
  • Checking, savings and loan transaction history
  • Checking and savings prior electronic statements
  • Internal scheduled or recurring transfers between deposit accounts
