What to Expect

How will the organizations operate?

Once the integration of our organizations is complete, the combined Wealth Management and Private Banking divisions of both banks will operate under the Cambridge Trust brand name while all other areas of the merged bank including Commercial, Business and Consumer Banking will operate under the Eastern Bank brand name.

We look forward to introducing all customers to the strengths of the combined organization. The Cambridge and Eastern teams are working collaboratively across all divisions to ensure a smooth transition.

What does this mean for Eastern Bank and Cambridge Trust customers?

We are committed to serving your needs with the highest quality service.

You can expect us to be communicating proactively with you on how to prepare for any transition, if applicable. This site is for Cambridge Trust customers to access information about how products and services will transition and similar information that was sent by mail. Eastern Bank and Cambridge Trust customers whose primary branch location may be consolidating and closing as a result of the Merger have also received communications. We are here for you, and a variety of resources are available—your local branch team can assist as well as our Customer Service Center.
