2024 brings the 30th Anniversary of Eastern Bank Foundation and our 36th Celebration of Social Justice where we are thrilled to honor Jackie Jenkins-Scott, a regionally and nationally respected community champion and change maker. Wherever Jackie focuses her talents and deep dedication, positive change follows. Over the past 30+ years she has taken vulnerable, community-centered organizations and reshaped them into high performing, mission-driven beacons of opportunity, equity, and economic inclusion & mobility including – Roxbury Community College, Wheelock College, and Roxbury’s Dimock Center. Jackie has been called upon by Governors and Mayors of the Commonwealth to help shape public policy, build equity, and improve education, has served on many Boards, and has helped hundreds of leaders and organizations create mission-driven models as a sought-after mentor and consultant. Her book “The 7 Secrets of Responsive Leadership,” shares her widely respected approach with us all.
